Privacy

This policy explains how BragIntel Pty Ltd (“BragIntel”, “we”, “us”), the operator of Fanverse, Bragger Sports and Bragger Golf, collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information, and how you can access or correct it or make a complaint. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
When you enter a competition, sign up at a venue, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth (for age-eligibility checks), postcode, the venue you entered from, and your marketing preferences. We collect this directly from you through our entry forms.
We collect your details to operate competitions, confirm eligibility, contact winners, manage and deliver prizes, and — only where you’ve agreed — send you marketing communications. We do not collect more than we need for these purposes, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Your identifiable details (name, contact details, competition activity and visit information) are only shared with the specific venue named on your entry form, and only if you tick the box agreeing to that sharing at the time you enter. If you don’t tick that box, the named venue does not receive your identifiable details from us.
Separately, if you tick the box to receive marketing from that venue, the venue may also use your details to send you their own offers and updates, in addition to (not instead of) the entry-sharing consent above.
Sponsors of a competition receive aggregate or de-identified results only — for example, total entry numbers or a breakdown by platform — never your name, email, phone number or other identifying details. If a specific sponsor-run promotion ever asks for your identifiable details directly, that will always be through its own separate, clearly-named consent checkbox at the time of entry — never assumed, and never bundled into general competition entry or platform marketing consent.
We use trusted technology and communication providers (for example, cloud hosting and database infrastructure, and email or SMS delivery services) to securely operate the platform and, where you’ve consented, to send you communications. These providers only access the personal information needed to perform their service for us, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Marketing permissions are always optional and separate from competition entry — declining marketing never affects your ability to enter a competition. Every marketing message we or a venue sends identifies the sender and includes a working way to unsubscribe or opt out at any time.
We keep personal information for as long as it’s needed for the purposes above (including prize fulfilment and dispute handling), and for as long as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including access controls and encryption in transit.
You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time — contact us using the details below. If you have a complaint about how we’ve handled your personal information, contact us first; if you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
